At the end of 2017, School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) of Steinbeis University Berlin founded SIBE Scientific Projects GmbH (SISP). In future, SISP will function as the research institute of SIBE.

The institute’s research focuses on the areas of leadership, personality and innovation and their interdisciplinary overlaps. The aim of  SIBE and SISP is to use the research results to make a value-adding contribution to science. The application of the knowledge gained is intended to make a further value-adding contribution to organisations and society.

The SISP’s research projects are primarily carried out as part of the SIBE Doctor of Business Administration Programme (DBA) in cooperation with Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland. In this context, the institute cooperates closely with other research and development institutions. In addition, SISP carries out research projects on behalf of companies and organisations on its own research priorities.
